2022 Judo National Championships

Finally, after 2 years away from the biggest event of the year, we were able to travel to Gold Coast to participate at the 2022 Judo National Championships.

Our club sent five players in total, who displayed a high level of Judo, and concluded with two Gold medals, a Silver, a Bronze, and a Fifth place.
In addition, two players participated in the Junior and Senior Boys and Girls teams event, and winning a Silver medal for each team. Both teams had started at a disadvantage missing 2 players, but have managed, through great display of Judo, to dig deep and prevail for the win to reach the final.

The winners from our club are:
Junior Boys, -46Kg: Jamie Mayer – 5th (individual) and Silver (teams)
Senior Boys, -60Kg: Adam Shkoulev – Gold (individual) and Silver (teams)
Cadet Men, -50Kg: Yonatan Ayzelman – Gold
Cadet Men, -55Kg: Yonatan Anshtein – Bronze
Cadet Women, -63Kg: Abigail Mayer – Silver

Change of classes for April 2016

Hi all,

As some of you know, Passover, a Jewish holiday, is around the corner and starts on Friday night, 22 April, and will go for 8 nights till Saturday 30 April.

Judokan runs its classes in the South Caulfield Hebrew Congregation hall, and therefore, cannot operate during the actual holy days (Yom-Tov).

For this reason, we are forced to change the classes for the next 2 Thursdays (21 & 28 Apr) to the Wednesday before (20 & 27 Apr respectively).

The class changes are:

Age Wednesday 20 Apr Wednesday 27 Apr
Under 9y.o 5:30pm 6pm
Over 9y.o 6:30pm 7pm
